Getting Gallen and Kelly again this series, hopefully a slightly better showing this time around

Gallen’s ERA is a full run worse than Teheran 🙂

Really, Really important to win this game with Rea and Teheran going in the next 2. A loss today feels like a near guaranteed series loss.

Teheran is our best starter by far in terms of stats. His ERA and WHIP lead the club, and that includes Devin.

It's a super small sample size and we face Gallen that day.

Now that yelich is having an above average season what do you do if someone comes knocking at the door with a mid-level minor league prospect and willing to take that contract off your hands?

Yelich has a full no-trade clause. He isn't getting traded.

So sad that Yelich is finally starting to look like a really good player again and the first reaction from so many fans is to try and trade him rather than just enjoy him looking like a really good baseball player again.

Or come to terms with the reality that a trade is never happening, and that he's a Brewer for the duration of his contract

For a trade to happen, you'd have to package Woodruff/Burnes with him AND have Yelich waive his NTC. Brewers aren't offering that. And Yelich has little incentive to waive his NTC.

He's hitting at an all-star level again and helping us win ballgames. Best to sit back and appreciate it.

5 games is not that small. Teheran has been terrific for us, and right now I have more confidence in him than Burnes, who is not commanding his pitches as well as he did when he was an all-star. With any kind of run support, Teheran would be 5-0. Maybe he's due for a stinker, but right now he's the best we've got.

Win or lose, this is the first game I’ve gotten to watch with my parents since last July, so I’m going to enjoy it.

That's all that matters.

So it's a free viewing game that's blacked out on MLB.TV

That's so screwed up.

So because I paid for MLB TV I can't watch it.

Might be a good thing.

Ooof.     This team is pretty bad.

Teheran is our best pitcher.   Or miley

but as long as urias gets 400 at bats we will be ok

Corbin needs a fresh start somewhere else

He pouted after arbitration & has been a lesser version of himself most of the year

I’m sure we will hold onto him but I fear his value will only decline the longer we wait

I’ve always preferred Woodruff anyway - in spite of his injuries

You should just be able to sign out and watch it then?

Or find a better way to spend the next 3 hours than watching Burnes throw BP.
