You can but only comp picks can be traded.

You should be allowed to trade any pick.

Sell me on Soto? What do you like?

Big fastball with room to grow and he is only 17.

Still Brice Matthews for me. An athlete with a bat.

Would have to remove all the compensation for FA and now rookies for that to happen.  I don't see the players association allowing that to happen without that happening.

I'm sold as that is exactly the type I love seeing this team draft.

Because the Braves/Yankees haven't picked yet.

It feels like this happens regularly. It used to be the Red Sox instead of the Braves though, Dodgers too.

Aidan Miller if he lasts would work but don't see the Brewers picking two straight third basemen so give me the best starting pitching prospect.

College vs high school so they’d be on different development tracks, plus with the bust rates of picks in general it’d give them two shots at getting a 3B out of the draft.

Especially if they view Miller as more of a mid 1st round talent that slipped due to injury.

BW could easily be a 1B or DH too. The bat will find a spot.

Any chance that the Brewers took Wilken instead of Miller because he agreed pre draft to a lower bonus so they can get a more unsignable guy with one of their next few picks.

I think the reason they took him was because he checked all the statistical boxes. More wake than Ks, massive exit velocities, massive HR totals.

Lots of big hitters left, and most are 3Bs. Interesting decision.

Preferred Miller or a pitcher but avoiding Bradfield is a win. Still not thrilled that he may not be able to stick at third and seems like all power with a weak overall hitting tool.

If he has to move to 1st it fills an organizational need
