He's a projected 1st rounder only because teams make huge mistakes. Bradfield doesn't belong in the 1st 2 rounds of this draft. He doesn't hit, at all.

I'm petrified we might take him, based on the rumors, even though he didn't fit what we look for.

I'm watching this draft hoping to hear his name before we pick.

Really thought the Royals would go for Teel

They have Melendez, who won't be a free agent until 2029, so a 5-6 year horizon catcher might make more sense than a 3-4 year horizon catcher.

I really want Nolan Schanuel but I doubt we'll place 1st round value on someone that's a 1B/COF type. Kid can flat out rake.

Real chance to add some real good talent to this system tonight. I'm excited.

He fits the Brewers contact model, and I hope they consider it

Before I finished typing, the Angel's took him

Troy’s off the board at 12.

Teel, Shaw and Taylor remain available. Brewers pick at 18.

I personally don't want any of those guys.

Just looking around mlb rank where we pick. Yohandy Morales at 6-4 3b profile. Thomas White 6-5 LH P, and Brock Wilken 6-4 3b/1b profile.  Good for me. Enough with the under 6' 1st rd picks.

Brayden Taylor and then Hurst Waldrop would be my 2 options if there. I still like taking a lower rated player and saving a bunch for later picks. There are a ton of high school pitchers I like later on that we can go over slot and make 3 or 4 solid picks that way.

Corbin Carroll, Matt McClain, Jose Ramirez, Ozzie Albies, Mookie Betts...

Focus on the bat, not the height.

Trout 6-2 Judge 6-7 Ohtani 6-4 DeLaCruz 6-5.

Magic range 6-2 to 6-5 for blowing through ceilings.

The Brewers are very model heavy but it's mainly worked out for them the last few years. I haven't really studied anyone in depth but I trust them to make solid picks

I'd feel better about that model if we had a player in our lineup that this model produced.

I agree with the pitching model, but we just threw away a 2nd rounder on Smith a few years ago.

Isn't Mookie Betts 5-9. Just focus on guys that can hit and avoid the middle of the field athletes that can't hit.
