I hate sacrifice bunting in the third.

Why in the hell is he trying to bunt with 2 strikes?

After the All Star Break counts too.

Those stats encompass after the all-star break considering they're for the entire month of July.

Good lord. I cannot articulate how much I hate that entire at-bat.

well, it avoided hitting into a double play and turning that 3 run blast to a 2 run shot;)

The 103 wRC+ and 4.9 runs per game were for the entire month.

It's mostly because Yeli and Contreras have been on fire, Adames had one of his hot streaks before the AS break.  The rest of the offense collectively has continued to sputter.  It also helped dropping 17 runs in 2 games at the start of July against a cratering Pirate squad

Monasterio has been hot. Offense is offense, though. Idc where they get it from.

Yeli and Contreras are showing how big a difference a couple batters in the lineup can make. If we can pickup a couple more dependable bats at the deadline and/or a couple of our underperforming guys can play closer to their projections, this team could be fun to watch the rest of the season.

I'll add him to the trio I listed previously...didn't realize he's gotten as much playing time as he has this month to significantly factor into overall team offense for July.  He's been great

I understand that, but the productive part of the “month” came in the first 8 days. Saying that the Brewers offense has been scoring a lot of runs and getting a lot of hits when they’ve scored 17 runs in the last 6 games is more than a little misleading.

Since the ASG and coming into today the Brewers are dead last in MLB in runs scored.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.
