Santana stinks ! Might have been good at one time , but as soon as he comes to Milwaukee he forgets how to hit !  Milwaukee   a place where good hitters go to die !

I wasn’t a fan of this trade but I understand why he was added

He is old & washed at 37

I’m still glad we didn’t trade any top prospects for a team that struggles so badly against horrible opponents

Surely Uribe is not the best option here after his last meltdown a few days ago to lose in extra innings

I’m tired of going to extra innings against such horrible opponents

He needs experience in these high stress situations. This is good for him and will be for us going forward

Great job CC.  Uribe is a perfect 10th inning guy.

If Severino can walk & chew gum we lost the Santana trade

I’m actually happy that Tellez is returning

I’d rather keep Toro on the roster & release Santana - he’s been a big disappointment both offensively & defensively

What was anyone truly expecting? It’s not 2016, Santana hasn’t been good in years. They traded for a washed up veteran with and expiring contract who was on a little hot streak.

Didn’t Uribe walk 3 batters on 12 straight balls?

2 batters. But that's what you get when you throw a rookie into a bases loaded no outs situation.

Urine has earned his role in thus pen.

We didn't have it tonight with our ace on and fortunately still stole it against a team we need to beat.

Until he gets a few more innings under his belt you do not want to bring him in in the middle of an inning. He starts the inning unless there's no other option.

Maybe we could wait more then 12 days before we decide that a trade is a disaster and a proven veteran with the highest defensive runs saved in the majors at first base should be released?

Ps it also seems like Santana has hit into some bad luck with the Brewers to me.

Hardly the best played game by either team, but another ugly win.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Weird to score 7 runs with montaserio doing nothing

also weird to win games 7-6.     Usually 6 runs against us is death

Brewers are now 5-5 this year when surrendering six runs.
