Brutal 0-2 pitch.

It was a pretty good pitch. Probably wanted it a tad higher, but the batter did a great job.

Yeah it was a good pitch playing off the change up. Moncada got jammed.

Having Woodruff back definitely raises the ceiling on what this team can be but the offense being this bad hurts. It's why going all in for a bat would have been right move.

I am interested in your cabin! (he said from New Orleans where the temp is 100 and the humidity is close 100%, but with no rain for weeks.)

It's lovely, I even got to watch tonight's game! It's close to Danbury, about 60 miles south of Duluth/Superior.

MLB's blackout rules are soooooo nonsensical. If I tried to watch the Twins game on my iPad (which has location linked to the MLB.tv app), I was blacked out. If I used my laptop on the same internet connection, I could watch the game.

My Brewers coverage is equally nonsensical. Tonight was on Fox so I could watch it but I rarely get to watch the Brewers here at the cabin.

No “all in” bats were dealt this deadline.

Even if one was available, this offense plus one “all in” bat is still like three or four “all in” bats behind Atlanta.

So do nothing by adding Santana? Ok. See you in February I guess.

Another grinder.     At least it’s on the plus side

Have the diamondbacks fallen off the face of the earth or what

I think yes would have to be the answer to this question.

Far from the team that gave us headaches earlier in the season.

Win tomorrow, and we’ll be right back where we were before the Braves series aka the series from hell.

The only difference is we had a bunch of games against bad teams coming up.   We didn’t build up any more cushion in the rivals      Now we’ve got a really tough stretch of games where we don’t have a high ceiling

I would have like to have a 4-5 game cushion.      I’m now at the point where I will take any kind of lead before we face cubs at end of month

it is nice to see some wild card teams fall back though

Good execution from Williams. Bad pitch call from Contreras. Moncada just had a silly looking swing against the changeup. No need to go FB after that.

You can only get who’s on the market.

Unless you make an offer that can't be refused. Brewers have 5 of the top 60 prospects in baseball. That's pretty good place to start. By the time they get to the show there pitching will be all gone. Now is the time.
