Their offense is to blame.  Their all or nothing BS has to stop.

Get some position players that can actually hit and maybe we will actually score some runs consistently.

You just can’t lose 2 out of 3 to the  Pirates with Burnes, Woody and Peralta going against nobody’s and bullpen games.

Kind of calls into question the notion that nobody would want to face the Brewers in a playoff series because of those 3 starters.

That is more than offset by the idea that most playoff teams would much rather face the Brewers batting order than that of any of the other playoff teams.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

We've been scoring a lot of runs.

Nobody fears this team and I'm pretty sure that article was written by a Cubs fan looking to jinx us.

Cubs already up 3-0 on the Giants.

Looks like the Brewers will need to pull this one out just to lose one game off their lead in this series.

I think Brewer fans who believe that the Brewers will pull away from the Cubs before the final series are fooling themselves. Hopefully the Brewers will remain in contention by that time. The Cubs have been “hot” for a very long time (30-13). I’m very concerned that the Brewers will not be division winners.

Yeah we've had a decent couple of weeks but that doesn't change the fact that this offense isn't good.

Also Craig’s decision to constantly put Frelick on the middle of the order doesn’t seem to be paying off. Canha would be a much better option, RBI situations are a lot to put on a guy who is just figuring out league pitching. Especially less than two outs, guy on third situations.

I laugh when our announcers say that……..I can tell you that nobody is scared of playing the Brewers.

Sure the Brewers can win but with our offense it won’t take many runs to beat them……and it’s not like Burnes and Freddy have had great years…..even if they’ve been better of late.

We don't have anyone worthy of hitting in the middle of a major league lineup.

The Brewers announcers were saying that in about the 5th inning today.

We just aren't a very good team. Probbaly good enough to sneak into the playoffs with the other teams being worse but not a threat to Atlanta or LA.

Not being a threat to Atlanta or LA does not mean the Brewers aren't a good team. They're good. Just not as good as those teams.

I wasn't listening and thats really stupid. There is no playoff team that is even concerned with facing us and Atlanta or LA would just laugh.

I assume you're excluding Contreras and saying there isn't anyone else to come after him.

The offense since the deadline hasn't been that bad. What happened before that is pretty irrelevant at this point.

Not even the Phillies who we've gone 4-2 against?

They are a mediocre team that will kost likely get in the playoffs because of the expansion of the playoffs and the fact that none of the wild card contenders are any good. We have terrific pitching but a lineup closer to the Oaklands of the world than teams like Atlanta.

I assure you LA and Atlanta aren't going to be laughing as they head into the NLDS. May I refer you to last year?

Contreras is good but this team lacks the star bat that most other playoff teams have.

Huge 3-run homer for Adames with two outs. Great start!

Since then... <crickets> I'm really fed up with these soggy noodle bats.

quite the difference for how things look right vs mid day Sunday with MKE winning and the Cubs losing at the time.

Yea bottom line this offense while better is still just the definition of mediocre/blah.   Hopefully they find a way today.  But its kinda nuts this has been going on for 4 years without really much improvement on O
