How did William look? I got a storm warning thing and didn't see him go off.

There is no report yet if he is hurt.

Contreras acting like he had some blood in his mouth. He didn’t take a shoulder or knee to the head, so I’m hoping for the best

I know people said good move to walk him, but putting the tying run in scoring position and putting De La Cruz on first intentionally where you pretty much lose the lead with a walk is pretty insane. This isn't the prime of Barry Bonds. So glad it worked out.

Runner was already on 2nd with first base open when De La Cruz came up to bat

He did the normal handshake routine.  I saw him with a finger in his mouth so maybe a cut or something like that.

Yeah, putting him on 1st with it open to pitch to a sub-200 batter was easily the right decision.

Thanks. Hopefully he's all good then!

Oops, I totally missed that, thought he was on 1st. My mistake then, correct move for sure.

Who is better? A 2.25 ERA is pretty darn good.

I just didn't like the matchup and he has been pitching from behind a lot lately.

Classic Brewers' series win. They usually get the job done, but sometimes you can't put a finger on how.

To get the W against a divisional rival in a series where we clearly didn't play our best ball is a nice result.

De La Cruz could have won it with 1 swing that is why, the next guy was no where near as good plus it gave McGill a little breather is why.

I dunno, when he’s got 2 walks, a steal, scored from second on a throwing error, Tripled, homered, and scored 3 of their 4 runs i was okay with walking him.
