Elisar Hernandez doesn't look good at all. With Patrick, Clarke, Zas, Thompson among other who are earning it in aaa. Clarke and Patrick for CarRod and Hernandez (dfa).

So sad to burn through the bullpen when we only needed 3 outs. He should not be on this team.

Anything can happen over three batters.  Murphy (and others) can't pee his pants after three batters when they're still up 6-1.  Should have let Hernandez pitch to a couple of more batters, then bring in Megill once the tying run gets to the plate.

I went to bed in the 8th, imagine my surprise watching the condensed game this morning.

Me too.

I really hate how the Brewers insist on having a crappy pitcher occupy the last spot like Hernandez and White. I understand that they are seeing what sticks and they could find success like they have with others but when they find out that a guy like Herget doesn't suck just stick with him instead of rotating in bad players.

Did anyone else wonder if the ball was really in Frelick's mitt? I had this sneaky feeling that he was acting. He never showed the ball.

In the moment, it did cross my mind. But he had it.

I’m pretty sure you could see the ball in the webbing of his glove.

Also, I'm almost certain he wouldn't "pretend" to catch the game-tying homer.

Edit:  I also just learned that you cant write the abbreviation for Whiskey Tango Foxtrot on this site.   Cracks me up how this platform is for third graders.

Yes, profanity is a sign of a mature adult with a well-formed vocabulary - the ideal we should shoot for in all our communication.

There's no profanity in what I typed.

And it's not just profanity.  This is about the tightest ship I've run into on the internet.  It's ridiculous what's not allowed here.

And before you tell me to go somewhere else I still love the site.  It's the best for information about the Brewers, I just think it's a little silly sometimes.

Many of us that have been around a long time (and maybe you have, I'm not sure), appreciate the tight ship. And I'm actually a MUCH looser "ship," IRL, but IMHO, the internet's loose-ness, if you will, contributes to the damage that it can cause society.

Perhaps this site is a tad legalistic, but I think that keeping an eye out for the trivial things makes it much easier to police the more significant mis-steps.

I wouldn't take it personally. There are plenty of times where I have policed myself, and rolled my eyes, but I think it's for the greater good.

All fair, as is TeamCanada's post.  And I've been here for at least 15 years and understand the rules, that one just cracked me up.

I should've just kept my mouth shut.

I once called Rickie Weeks a tough SOB and was reprimanded...I thought it was funny people weren't allowed to abbreviate Son Of a Biscuit.  What's even more funny is I don't really curse IRL.

Jackson Chourio RECORDED THE FASTEST HOME-TO-HOME TIME THIS SEASON AT 14.7 SECONDS (29.6 FT/S)

That sounds impressive until I realized that, most of the time, players going home-to-home are trotting for at least 75% of the way.

What we really need is some good Statcast data collected from old footage. What was Prince's Home to Home speed on his Inside the Parker in the Metrodome or even farther back according to my 90 Donruss baseball cards White Sox catcher Ron Karkovice hit an inside the parker in 89.
