Under the watchful eyes of Vinny Rottini,

there is no hope for Mr. Heaney!

Wil-th will be throwing some filth!

This will be a runaway laugher!

This will be a Rangers disaster!

Yeah C-Rod down. Gasser to 60-day then Kuhnel DFA'd for Keuchel before Keuchel's start.

I'm going to assume he's a baseball player, and not a clubhouse attendant or other hanger-on.

Just googled him. I have no memory of ever hearing his name before.

Wow … another “big boy” pitcher … move over Bryce Wilson - make room at the table for John Kuhnel

Should be hungry to eat some innings then.

I wonder if any of the stats experts on this site have looked at the % of innings that the Brewers have scored at least one run, and how that compares to the league average. Right now, it seems like the offense has a lot of scoreless innings, but they're getting by on the crooked number.

I suspect that % of non-scoreless innings is highly correlated with runs per game.

Was postulating that last night.

Early in the year seemed to have more scoring innings but now it's big number or bust.

Well, that opener didn't work.

Yeah, Hoby is not a high-leverage guy right now at all.  He should not be pitching in a tie game no matter what the stage of the game is.

Little tough luck that inning. Missed call on the second pitch to Adames ruined his at bat and then Chourio hits it hard but right at the guy.

Again, low exit velocity is your key. If Chourio keeps it down he beats that one out and it's a tie game.
