His work load has really been down lately he has only pitched 8 innings in his last 3 starts and using Koenig as an opener today so who knows.

For players not currently on their team's 40-man roster, they will need to be added by 11:59 p.m. ET on Aug. 31 in order to be eligible for the postseason.  So Chad Patrick cannot be called up as far as I know.

I meant for tomorrow's start. And they can play when replacing an injured player like Donaldson last year.

From Sept. 1 through the end of the regular season, all clubs must carry 28 players, with a limit of 14 pitchers.

I definitely think we will find out which of our starters won't be making the wild card roster as a long man.

Rea might just have to eat 6-7 innings tomorrow for us and we can finish the with whomever else won't be needed Tuesday, if those are the thoughts.

Murphy implied yesterday that Myers would be the bulk man today so probably not a full bullpen day.

Myers is on 3 days rest. Pretty doubtful that he's going to be going any longer than 2-3 innings.

My guess would be since Koenig is the opener followed by Collen Rea today.
