That's a brutal way to go out. The pick, fumble that turns into a TD....

Well... Christmas would be during Week 17, so that's... not really a huge statement.

And no, the Packers are not going to finish last in the division. The bandwagon empties early, but people sure jump back on quickly.

I was never on the band wagon.

Well, thanks to a massive choke job by the Cardinals I'm officially out of my survivor pool.

Feel ya. They were my pick, too. But I can buy back in, so a $25 setback. Pretty ridiculous, TEN had no business winning that one...

- Cards player has easy TD but hotdogs it and drops ball just before crossing the goal line. Was relatively late in the game, woulda made it an insurmountable 21 point lead.

- Cards player intercepts, then proceeds to fumble, then the Cards kick it around until TEN falls on it for a TD. Was late in the game with Cards up 9, INT essentially ices it.

- Not on the same level, but earlier in the game, I believe a routine shotgun snap was just inexplicably dropped by Murray, resulting in a turnover.

Just some unbelievably terrible unforced errors. Gift after gift after gift to TEN. (I live in market so had the pleasure of watching it all unravel in real time.)

ETA: And all this despite the Cards being the home team, too.

Well... I don't really care, but I never said you were.

I'm pretty skeptical you're a Packers fan. Even when they win(like Detroit) I remember you talking about how they'd blow it, they'd gas, how bad Nixon was(worst player on the defense), LVN in, Parsons wasn't doing anything... LaFleur is the worst coach in the league.

Not sure what you're watching if you think the Packers are finishing behind the Bears and the Vikings, but... we'll see.... again.

We've got one of those in my pools as well.

It's really annoying. It's a 3 week cutoff... which is SO stupid.

Someone else took it over a few years ago and last year they came up with this idea.

The first 3 weeks in the past have been when MOST people go out. People who pick the Ravens or whichever team. We've done a 2nd pool in the past. you can do another one that starts week 7 or so(it was usually over by then).

But wild, ridiculous games like this are usually how people go out.
I try and stay away from;

-Division Rivals playing on the road
-Bad teams, but teams with elite defensive lines... like the Browns, Giants, Jets(not so much this year, but when they had a better edge).

But there are crazy games like this one where the Titans just had no business winning.

Couple years ago there was one where Justin Tucker hit a 66 yard FG as time expired vs the Lions. That would have knocked out over half the pool.

Let's not devolve this debate into trying to declare who's a fan or not. People can be optimistic or pessimistic, or have different points of view about any number of things. Just saying "you must not be a fan" isn't helpful.

I originally had the Colts but changed my mind when I saw the Cardinals were playing the Titans at home. That was my mistake to look at who was worse between the Titans and Raiders instead of looking at who was better between the Colts and Cardinals. As an aside, the Cardinals should really cut Demercado today but probably won't because they have been so decimated by injury at the running back position.

Apparently OPI near the goalline is not a penalty if Patrick Mahomes and Taylor Swifts’ fiancé start yelling at the officials that it’s not OPI.

Glad the Jags found a way to win that game - I love Andy Reid, but I'm about done with the rest of the Swifties...ive got 0 faith in the rest of the AFC to keep them from another deep playoff run, but maybe the injury bug will bite the right guys in KC to spare us in January.

But it was the right call. You have a one yard leeway.

Dude... you sticking with that? The Colts are looking pretty damn good...

Posted shortly before the Broncos made one game worth watching.

Payton goes for 2 and Denver comes back from 17-3 to take an 18-17 lead.

Yep, I'm sticking with that.

Well... it's not a crazy question when someone is on like... 5 straight years running of "The Packers could take last in the division," and every game talks about how they're going to lose almost no matter how well it's going...

It's not like I'm asking @adambr2who he's a fan of because he is a bit...pessimistic. I know he's a Packers fan.

But when everyone else has them in the top 6-7 still... after a couple of really flukey games they went 0-1 in after beating the team that'll have it "wrapped up" SO early it'll be...week 17, it's an honest question.

Man, this Jets offensive line is horrendous. Fields consistently has only two seconds in the pocket or he's getting sacked.

That is the worst offensive line performance I have ever witnessed on any level. I'm picking up the opposing defense in my fantasy league every week if possible.

Their last two first round picks were offensive tackles, and both of those guys were picked in the top 11.

Daniels pulled a Love and gift wrapped a victory to the Bears.  Well in this case it wasn't a badly timed interception (Love's specialty) but a fumble on a handoff when Washington was driving to pad their lead.

Yeah, but the Commanders should have been up at least two scores when that fumble happened. Daniels did not have a stellar game. The Bears are, unfortunately, an improved team that could very well make the playoffs.

I think A-Rod found the perfect team for him at this stage in his career and Pittsburgh's going to make some noise.

Maybe Flacco has too

With Chase and Higgins as my WRs, I think I could make some noise as the QB...

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."
