Gross

Jimmy Herron hitting 212/268/265 (50 wRC+) and Adam Hall hitting 207/281/264 (56 wRC+) with a 36.5 K% have been the primary corner outfielders for NASH this year.

Rosario has hit 339/406/542 (137 wRC+) in AAA so far this year.

I’ll cruise with Eddie.

If he stays in the minors, sure. This feels like Rosario will get called up in the next couple of weeks. With Perkins coming back don't really think it is necessary. Collins has still been solid against RHP, which Rosario would be facing.

The problem is if Perkins comes up, that would require Daz Cameron to be DFA'd and potentially lost. If that happened, they wouldn't want Hall/Herron to be the reserves.

Collins should be safe for now

I don't get the Dalbec (played RF) and Rosario signings. I feel like both are vets that are going to expect a mlb chance sooner than later. I really dont see either being better than Daz, Collins, and maybe on par with Oliva. My guess is that there is a some bad news coming from the organization somewhere from Perk or Mitchell probably.

It is never a bad idea to collect productive and meaningful veteran talent at Triple-A Nashville. I personally see more options in the veteran pool a good thing for the Sounds and the Brewers. Ride the hot hands. Injury insurance. We all know the intense challenges the AAAA guys have in making it to the call up and then excelling in limited MLB opportunity and sticking on the roster. It's a colossally challenging task. Then you take in consideration the overwhelming stop gap quality and emphasis generally placed on their body of work - prospect and youth favoritism etc. I hope Rosario and Dalbec exceed expectations.

Misiorowski *only* sitting 96-97 in the first. Grooved a 2-0 fastball down the middle for a solo shot to left, but retired the other 3 batters

Edit: Looks like he ripped a couple 99s in there as well

Dominant RHP Jacob Misiorowski (1.49 ERA, 0.92 WHIP, 11.5 K/9 in 42.1 IP) gets the early start today as AAA Nashville aims to extend its series lead to 3-0 in Memphis. 2B Anthony Seigler’s hit streak is up to 10 games, with a season OPS of .919.

I honestly just do not have words for how quickly Misiorowski's control has improved. It's like it just clicked for him overnight. Through 3 innings today he's at 3 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 3 SO. 34 pitches, 27 strikes with a 62% zone rate!!

Truly nuts.

It is on par with Ashby, out of nowhere, suddenly mowing down batters and eating innings last Aug/Sept...after walking what seemed like 2-3 per inning for a year!

I still can't believe Miz just pulled a Plus change-up from out of nowhere!!

I also apparently just love baseball reasons to use italics and exclamation points. Just feels right.

Seigler just hit another bomb. Less of a Memphis special as well as he really cranked this one (105 EV, 26 LA). Dunn follows it up with a triple off the wall in left center (similar to AmFam) that shot towards right center. He was sent home and for whatever reason chose not to slide and was out at home. If he slides he's safe with an inside the park HR.

Seigler plays 2B/C/OF right, any 3B in is past? Maybe he should start getting some reps if not.

Misi needs to get a big league shot even if we are a bit cramped on our roster and have guys coming back from injury.

He plays 2B/C. He only started getting 2B reps after a previous arm issue (I believe I am recalling this correctly) forced him away from the backstop for a spell. Last season, for example, I don't believe he played an inning behind the dish.

If I am misremembering here, ignore everything I am typing 🤣

He's played a couple games in the OF corner and no 3B. Though I don't see why he couldn't handle 3B or the corner OF. Personally I'd like to see them trying him out at more positions defensively because he seems like a guy who can be a legit MLB bench player so that added flexibility could be really important.

My goodness Misiorowski just threw a 103.0mph FB in a 3-2 count with runners on 2nd and 3rd to get a strikeout and get out of the 6th inning. Yes he just threw a 103.0mph FB on pitch 78 in the 6th inning. This guy is absolutely absurd.

Oh and he's coming back out for the 7th inning for the 2nd start in a row.

Meccage and Letson both having their starts skipped? Not worried, but a little worried.

Letson told me yesterday that he is having a little shoulder issue.  His words.

He was scheduled to start yesterday...
