Words can not describe how hard my eyes bleed when I watch Kyle Kuzma play any kind of basketball. Absolutely in mid-season form. (Wait for it as the camera pans to the far corner half court. You won't be disappoined)

He truly is One of One.

Welp, went back post-Brewsers Game 2 win and speed watched portions of the Bucks first pre-season game. Ultimately, we all know pre-season games in any sport are meaningless. Unless, of course, it validates a prior: Kyle Kuzma absolutely still stinks at NBA basketball. Good grief he is truly a terrible NBA basketball player in any context.

Apparently the Bucks and Giannis talked about parting ways and his preferred destination would have been to the Knicks.  There was some discussions between the Knicks and Bucks about this but it didn’t go any further than preliminary discussions.

Myles Turner appears to be ready to absolutely feast off Giannis' gravity this season. I would also casually share: the guard group of KPJ, GTJ, AJG, Cole, and Rollins might be the most slept on group in the League. It is very early obviously but, I legit really like what I'm seeing from this group. Sears continues to show his size worries were overstated. He'a looked quite fun in garbage time late-game pre season work. He has feel. Can handle. Has Range. Can penetrate. Can throw the lob. He's going to be fun in Oshkosh for those who attend Herd games.

In the end, despite botching the vast majority of whatever draftpicks the Bucks have had and used, we can't say Horst didn't do everything in his powers to keep Giannis happy:

I would've been excited about this 5 years ago, but now it just smacks of nepotism.

Plus, we can't yell, "BOOO-YAHHH" every time Jamaree enters a game. I have no idea if that is how you say his name, but it was my last chance to make the joke, so...

There's no way that stuff like this isn't happening in every league under the sun with the widespread takeover of gambling that was just inexplicably greenlighted in the last few years.

You went from leagues running straight-up anti-gambling ads during games to putting bookies inside of arenas. Insane

This isn't directed at the NBA...it could apply to the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL....I cannot wait until a powerful owner gets busted for gambling on game(s) within his own league and then seeing what the rest of the owners do about it.  I cannot wait for that day to happen.

Some of the stuff that they allow prop bets on is just asking for scandals. Only the stupid ones get caught where tens of thousands of dollars are involved. There are surely many others winning smaller sums for their buddies. It’s so easy to do in these leagues like the NBA and MLB where the regular seasons is a slog and individual players can easily have a “off night”.

Owners didn't get to be where they are by being stupid.

You can play in the NBA and be stupid if you're talented enough.

I think when they are healthy Anthony and Porter should split PG. Rollins is fine but the other 2 have a way better offensive ceiling which this team needs. Play both Anthony and porter 6 mins each the 1st quarter and then go with the hot hand heavier the rest of the way for like a 28/20 split that kind of rocks back and forth. I would think that getting one or the other to score 20 a game is possible and would lift alot off of Giannis.

I've watched a little but not much the 1st 3 games. Have we tried Giannis, Portis, and Turner in the same lineup yet? It would seem to me those are our 3 most consistent/best players. Giannis can still play a little 3.

While on the Giannis front, what are season line predictions? He is at 37.3/16/7  with nearly 69% fg% in 32.6 min/gm. Part of me wants to push him and play him like 36 per night and make a push for a 40 ppg season. However, eventually he will have some off nights or teams just triple team him in the paint/drive. I still think 35/15/7 with like 62-63 % shooting is possible if he takes more point reasonsibilties.

So you post this picture with no personal name or NBA team name? 🤪

I was referring to financially stupid, but if you're referring to Mark Davis generally, how is it stupid that he:

  • spoke out publicly on the issue of domestic violence in the NFL and proposed that the league should suspend with pay any player arrested while "the investigation moves forward".
  • spoke out in favor of a written report of the Washington Commanders workplace conduct investigation, and the release of such a report, in stark contrast to the other NFL team owners who oppose releasing a report
  • spoke out in favor of increased pay and better accommodations for players in the WNBA
  • invented the muff-style hand-warmer that football players use in cold weather
  • moved the Raiders from Oakland to Las Vegas

Ryan Rollins is good.

The past 2 games should be super encouraging. Losing to Cleveland on the road by 5 with no one other than Giannis playing really well is a decent start but the win last night against a strong Knicks team is great. I feel pretty confident saying we should be a top 5 team in the east at this point.

I would really like to see the scoring/ball go through the point guards more than Bobby when Giannis is out. The 2 games I have watched it just seems like when Giannis is off the court Bobby tries to take over and there is no ball movement or plan. I think that when Kevin Porter is back this is where he could help the team the most

I haven’t been able to watch any of the games but is Turner playing as bad as his stats are?  If he is then he is looking like another bad Bucks FA signing.

Looks like Rollins heard your post and put up 25 pts for you. 😃

Porter and Giannis played really well together last year (to the point where I was advocating Giannis and Dame play as little as possible together).

But I think Rollins has the most upside, IMO. I've been on his bandwagon for a couple of years.  And since he is just 23, he still has some upside to go.

Four games in seems a bit premature to call that... go look at KAT's stats from last night and see what Turner has brought so far (FYI, KAT averaged 25 pts/game vs the Bucks last year).  Turner's D has shown up... I suspect his offense will take some time finding his spacing around Giannis.
