I bet he signs for well under slot, maybe half a mil. That's another HS arm later on.

Then I can get on board with this for sure.

Age 21 should be under slot because it's very unlikely he would go back to school and try to up his stock to a 22 year old top 10 pick

I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

I'm generally a college 1st-base early skeptic, but this is kind of what I expected with the way the board fell for them. A few of the guys who were left ranked higher didn't tend to fit the Brewers' type. I'm wondering if 32 ends up being a prep arm or infielder after this.

75% would put them at about a mil in savings (equal to the 28th pick slot).

Thinking this guy will be like Brock and go to Wisconsin): Anyone think he will be in Zebulon?

Makes sense, Burke goes to Biloxi after the break, Fischer steps right into 1B for the T-Rats.

I love a corner infield power bat. Arnold loves to go under slot early and clean up on day 2. I can’t state my opinion on this pick until the draft is over,

Sidenote, I wonder if Burke becomes available in trade talks in the coming weeks with this pick? Amazing to have both but are now redundant a little if Fischer is seemingly going to move over.

I like the Fischer pick alot, I think we should save .5-1 million on the slot. He walked over 20 time more than he struck out and had and ops of 1250 something.

I do wonder if the org. has a plan to move one of the 1B/3B prospects to the OF.

Burke, Bitoni, Wilken are all moreso in play now.

Hope he comes to Zebulon first...I live in Raleigh!

Could turn him into a left fielder. That would work.

Burke is a 1B, nothing more.  There is no chance in hell he moves to the OF, so something has to be done.  Can Fischer stick at 3B, can he be moved to the OF?

It's a good problem to have, and I am firmly in the camp against trading Burke.  FIRMLY!
