Brady Ebel is the 7th youngest.

System weaknesses getting fixed early in the draft. Power bats. Power bat potential. LHP.

Thompson's best pitch by my eyes is his change-up and it is an awesome pitch.

Cairone has major extension. Still 17 yo. Heavy spin. Major velo jump this year - sitting 94-95 mph. Just a lovely young pitching prospect. Jersey Prep wave here we come!

I think that says more about their rankings than it does about the way we draft.

JD Thompson feels like a very Brewers pick after some research. Low release fastball with good ride so it has a good VAA.

He's going to be a guy that will also greatly benefit from being with the Brewers. They won't rush him. So they'll likely work on turning that slider into a cutter and differentiating it further from the curveball while dialing in and maximizing the heater. He is a perfect pitcher for our development program imho.

Bauer and Appenzeller still on the board.   Brewers certainly have some underslot from the first few picks, could be buying one of these guys down.

Cairone was early at 68 but that is the one we need to sign. Found a guy they liked and offered him more money than he was projected to get.

I’m curious to see what the bonus pool looks like. Funny that we took a NJ traits prep arm in the spot of the Levonas comp pick (a NJ traits prep arm) probably got a rock solid, great number can’t imagine it’s overslot
