A little different format for the question of the week. Within reason, who is your #1 trade target in the next six days? The guy who, if acquired, would make you give the Brewers a B or higher grade at the trade deadline if that's all they did at the deadline.

Ryan Helsley.

I'm alright with "none" as an answer, but I'd REALLY like to add one more power arm to the Bullpen.

Helsley would be great.

I'd say Aroldis Chapman, but he no longer looks to be available.

Michael Soroka would be a bit under the radar, but I think he fits best in the pen. And his numbers are a bit inflated due to one blow up(7ER 1IP vs Boston).

But, the two best options would be Helsley and David Bednar. This is assuming they don't make a bigger deal with the Twins.

(I'm already at a B for the Brewers trades...I don't care if it's the deadline or not, they made two trades...that I did not like at all at the time and brought back Vaughn and Quinn Priester. That's a helluva return in-season. Now they've added Danny Jansen to give Contreras some time off behind the plate and they made these moves without giving up much).

I would just let my trade candidate keep their name.  No need to name them.

I'd go with O'Hearn or Castro.  Both would be great too.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

It’s a weird deadline, because you can make a case that we have good-not-great players up and down the roster whom we likely can’t realistically upgrade, plus our minor league system is so deep that we can definitely trade guys, but it’s hard to settle on which guys.

Castro seems pretty ideal — super-utility type who could play a bunch of shortstop or fill in for whomever is feeling gassed. I like O’Hearn as a Bauers upgrade, though I’m with the faction who say a Bauers upgrade isn’t worth what the O’s will probably want.  I don’t know the relief field, but I hope and trust Matt Arnold will grab a bullpen arm somewhere.

If we do make a move, it's going to be for someone no one predicted. Some younger person who has a lot of team control left who can help us at least through next year is my guess.

Ortiz is highly upgradable.

And Pratt — he’s just not ready.

I totally agree other than that, though, expect with the bullpen prices we’ve seen I don’t know if Arnold will get involved. He might turn one of our existing guys into a bullpen arm instead.
