The Crew really needs to win this one. Yeah, the Cubs are now neck and neck with us and you want to have at least a little momentum going into the huge series Monday through Wednesday.

But most importantly, I'm going to be at this game, and I don't intend to drive three hours up and three hours back to watch a stinker.

Go get 'em, Woody.

We’re putting our 7-0 record for the season on the line today.

My biggest question going into the game is how many of Perkins, Monasterio, Siegler, and Hasse will be in today’s Sunday lineup.

Yelich really looks like he could use some time off. I’m not sure If he’s hit one ball hard since the break. Giving Contreras a day off from catching would make sense too given that it’s going to be very hot and humid. I also expect Monasterio to replace one of the IF.

It’s Salvage Sunday, but it looks like one of those series where one team has it and the other one doesn’t.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I’m sure you meant hitting the ball hard and in the air but he did have a 105 mile per hour ground out yesterday

Yeah, when Yelich hits the ball at all it seems to be on the ground.

In 30 PA after the break he has 13 K’s and no XBH.

I'm just about ready to give Woodruff the ball in game one of whatever playoff series we end up in.. But if he shows up today and resettles us... I might just put that in ink.

We cannot get swept by the Marlins. That would undo much of the progress & momentum we gained by our recent hot streak.

Hopefully, Woody remains awesome & Milwaukee rights the ship before hosting the Cloun$sell-led Cubbies for three games.

I’ve been checking each day to see if anyone other than Treego has participated in this “annoying” daily poll. It certainly doesn’t appear to get much attention & simply takes up space. Am I the only one who is bothered by this particular question? I do like the idea of a “fun” daily poll … but this is not that IMO. 😏

Well good news is Contreras isn't catching. Bad news is he's the dh. This doesn't help 😕

I'd rather have him DH than Seigler.

I think you are the only one commenting on it, so perhaps you are the only one. I scroll past it every day.

Isn’t the purpose of a poll to have forum users participate?

You are one of many who scrolls past this redundant question game after game.

Your reply only confirms that my thoughts are accurate … it is an unnecessary & useless poll if this is the only question that is asked each game.

Did Frelick get hurt again?  I suppose the decision was to start Collins over Frelick because... (?)

I would guess his hammy is still bothering him. I'd rather it get right now then play at 90% or worse the rest of the season.

I hope Frelick is well. I’d prefer to see him in there instead of Yelich … both for offense & defense. Yelich has looked bad recently at the plate. He could use a day off. Hopefully, he begins a new hot streak today … but my confidence level is quite low.

Small sample fun...

Yelich wRC+ as a DH = 112

Yelich wRC+ as a LF = 153

I guess that’s Brock’s call. Sometimes new features don’t catch on right away. I’ve never once clicked on a link in the Media Links thread, but to each his own.

Yes, the owner of the site has the right to do as he pleases. That said, we are 105 games into the season & it doesn’t appear this particular question will gain any traction.
