Even Brady Neal, Alabama's catcher, will only be 21.9 as a SR, so could be a great bargain.

We’ve drafted him once already too.

What range is Brendan Brock expected to go? We drafted him last year and if I recall correctly he had a plus plus run tool as a catcher. That is quite unique! Had a very decent season with the Sooners

BA has him as their #107th ranked overall prospect right now in the draft. So, seems like he'd be a round 2-4 type guy next month. In this scenario, banking on himself by going back to college for another year appears to have paid off for him.

Absolutely! I think from memory he'd grown up dreaming of going to Oklahoma and being a sooner, so really got the best of both worlds there

With that said though....I selfishly wish he would have signed with the Brewers last summer! 😉

Local kid that has turned a corner this year - Thomas Burns from Hortonville. Big RHP pitching at Texas. Was a starter but they moved him to the closers role this year. His numbers are mixed but 43 k's in 22 innings. Hucks it up there high 90s. Big over the top delivery with some real rise. I think BA had him in the 100s as far as college prospects go at one point this year ... not sure where he ended up.

He's currently 185th on their overall list.

MLB.com has Logan Reddemann at #28.

Is that fairly consistent with other ratings and realistic at this point of where he might go?  I think the Brewers might like his cutter and ability to throw strikes.  Could move through the system quickly.

If Levonas makes it to us, I would laugh if we drafted him again.

Not draft eligible this year

ESPN has him at 23 and BA at 31 so seems like consensus would be late 20's.

They haven't gone pitcher in the first round since 2014 with the Kodi Medeiros pick, excluding any comp picks.  Maybe they go pitcher but I think they stay with a college bat in the first round.

We took Ethan Small at #28 in 2019. I think we'd all like to forget that happened. 😉

Going down late in the year with arm fatigue has definitely caused him to lose a little shine and brought him down into our range. He was almost guaranteed to be gone by #25 if he had stayed healthy, but now he could likely be available, if we were so inclined.
