Bottom line, the Brewers are penciling two or three guys into the lineup every night you’d really rather not have to play regularly. And the last two and a half games, they’ve needed one or two fewer black holes in the lineup and they probably steal one of these.

that's like the 4th or 5th time this year he's had a terrible approach in a big situation. I realize his bat's come around and he's "unluckily" been up with the bases loaded a ton.  i'm cheering for him with all I have, but these at bats need to end.  if you're a power hitter you're allowed a little leeway with that cr*p. not when you're the worst bat on the team. take a pitch. step into one. anything else

I love Perkins, but yeah. He's a fringe bottom of the order starter/4th OF type.

Kind of amazing we've managed this run without Chourio. 

I'll be unpopular and give the Cubs credit for their last 22 innings. The bottom of their order has really produced good ABs. They've been doing what we do. Good news is, 22 innings of a baseball season means....bupkis.
