Man, ESPN Gamecast is two batters ahead of me. While Collins is coming up to bat on my tv, gamecast is on pitch 6 to Durbin. This buffering is putting me behind. So annoying

It feels like we've been hitting into a ton of double plays lately.

Partly because they never run because they can't steal bases anymore.

Mine isn't buffering but the picture is quite bad. Seems dark and grainy.

Watching on YouTubeTV tonight and not having to deal with FanDuel. I constantly have to leave the game and then enter it again because of buffering and then the sound and game don't match up. I'm glad I get to watch without dealing with that tonight.

Joey looked at a great pitch to hit, then swung at ball 4 at his shoulders.

It's hard to express how bad he's been this season. I'm guessing he's cost them 100 runs alone on offense.

100 runs? 😂

Only if he hit a grand slam every time he batted with the bases loaded

Dude has stranded the bases loaded 30 times at least. It's possible 😂

Have we tried scoring a run?

According to my calculations -- and I'll readily admit I'm not good at math -- no.

And a leadoff walk. Surely that won't hurt us!

That’s like when they used to say in the days before advanced stats that Ozzie Smith saved his team 150-200 runs with his great defense.

That made sense if, and only if, the alternative was no SS at all. You’d have a lot of routine grounders bounding into left field

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Mona would have 22 grand slams if he had gotten those ABs

Wondered if I was the only one to have that issue.  My picture and sound get out of sync 4-5 times per game and I have to back out and reload.  Tonight’s the first time I’ve seen buffering posts so I always thought it was just me.

I know it's not politically correct to say but is it possible that guys getting yanked in and out of the lineup every other day has guys a bit off hitting wise? I just feel like guys who were swinging it well have fallen off since. Oh by the way red hot Montesario has 4ab in past 9 games.

I've abandoned the tv and switched to my phone. Sub-optimal. It works fine on my phone. MLB.tv works so I can monitor the Cubs game on my tv. No lag or buffer on that network. I think my internet is fine.

It seems like our offense is buffering... 😕

27 PA with the bases loaded and has a walk, 3 singles, a double and a HR.with 16 RBI. So, a BA of ..192. If he had hit 1.000 he might have driven in 40 or so more runs. Presumably some of those runners he left on base were driven in by a subsequent hitter.

So, no, it isn’t remotely close to possible.
