I'll preface this by saying I'm a sucker for powder blue uniforms. As a child of the 1980s when it felt like every team had one, it evokes nostalgia for a time when baseball was stupid, played on concrete, and everyone was doing something illegal.

To my knowledge, the Brewers have never used "Milwaukee" on a powder blue jersey, making these likely to be road uniforms. The block font is a throwback, but only to jerseys that read "Brewers" in the 1970s and 1980s. Milwaukee was typically written in a script font, not dissimilar to the current dark blue jerseys worn on the road.

What are your thoughts on these new jerseys? Yay or nay?

I think this does mean that the City Connects are gone. It is a 3 year program and I find it highly doubtful that the brewers would have powder blue roads and city connects. I like them but with they did more than change the color on the grey uniforms.

Too many uniforms: home cream, home pinstripes, away gray, alternate blue tops, city connects, and now a powder blue alternate Jersey?

A branding nightmare, and a ploy to separate folks from their money buying the latest jersey.

Pick a home, road and alternate and stick with it.

This new Alternate is replacing the Road Grays as those won't be worn at all in 2026.

Kinda surprised by that.

all teams get one home, one road, 2 alternatives and one city connect. I agree its too many but thats a MLB / Nike problem not a brewers problem.

I believe the maximum number of uniforms allowed is four, so one of the 2025 uniforms is phased out.

Yes, Road Greys wont be worn in 2026.

Maybe I’m too cynical or perhaps just a curmudgeon but they just changed color schemes before the 2020 season to Navy blue, Cream and gold. Added a City Connect two years ago. Now they’re introducing a new color scheme as a road/alternate uniform. Smells to me like jersey sales were soft this year. (Not to mention kind of a half-assed approach in not just going full retro powder blue).

Then just from a swagger/aesthetic vibe in the post season at Wrigley the stands were an ocean of cubbie blue, dodger blue in LA. But up at AmFam it was a mish mash of different colors, jerseys and a half dozen mascots giving off circus vibes more than heritage baseball swagger.

Have they really not worn powder blues like this in games in recent years?  I don't pay attention to this stuff, but we've been seeing versions of this sold for years now, so I guess I assumed at some point they wore them in games.     If that's true, it does make sense to use them in games since they're one of the best sellers already so people like them. Give the people what they want.  Just like when they finally caved and brought back the ball and glove logo, fans were choosing to wear it anyway because its so much better.

Jerseys are perfect, I've been wanting them to go back to real powder blue forever.

The fact that the pants are grey and not also powder blue is a huge miss and looks terrible.

Since these are being characterized as alternate road jerseys, I'd think the odd jersey out, so to speak, is the navy with the gold script Milwaukee.  I'll miss that style if it is in fact phased out.

I also can't fathom why they'd pair the new jersey with gray pants, unless that's somehow a MLB or Nike issue.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Sounds like the road grays are the ones being replaced and supposedly there were will be a new city connect as those rotate every 3 years I guess?

Road - Powder Blue, Navy Blue

Home - Cream, Pinstripe

City Connect - TBD

I agree with the consensus that gray pants with the powder blue was a miss. Should have gone full powder blue. I also think I would have preferred keeping the road grays as the secondary road jersey not the Navy Blue.

Agreed, the Navy road Alternate is terrible.... Road Gray and Road Alternate Powder Blue should be the choice!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! I love that jersey.

I'm also on record as saying that if they would make a damn jersey with Barrelman on it, they could have all my money.

Come on, this is silly. Sea of Cubbie Blue?Screenshot2025-12-05134815.png.2530323ae60ba659b3ce801cac747920.pngScreenshot2025-12-05135119.png.e749515c68bf2e7c7e0bf8cb33f7e72d.png

I’m not a jersey guy. Don’t own one, wouldn’t buy one. So the Brewers introducing their 5th New Jersey in the last five years, looks like a cheap cash grab to me. But obviously there are folks who are into jerseys, collect them, etc. and they’re probably excited.

From an intangible perspective, I wish the Brewers would choose an identity and stick with it. Be retro and wear the 80’s pinstripes at home and powder blue on the road. Great. Or wear the cream colored jersey at home and the traditional traveling grays with Milwaukee on the chest. But when you seemingly where a different uni each night and have a half dozen mascots running around your stadium, it’s not the kind of image/identity typically associated with a club that’s won their division 4 of the last 5 years and been in the post season 7 of the last 8 seasons.

Kinda surprised by that.

A few teams (Tampa, Seattle, maybe others?) have dropped their away grays. It might start becoming a wider trend since those are not very popular in terms of sales. I think it would be sad to lose that tradition.

LOL. I felt like I was in an "ocean" of Brewer fans when I was at the playoff games. There was a sea of yellow towels waving all night. You had to have seen that. I'm sure the guy who argued with me that it didn't seem like the crowd was loud enough from his vantage point on the couch would agree with you.

The Cubs literally introduced a powder blue jersey last season.

Yep, jerseys aren’t my style. Seemed pretty loud when I was there for all the playoff games this year 🤯, but good on you for challenging one’s fandom.  I can tell you jersey wearing crowd was certainly a hodge podge mix.

I like the gear.  Brewer apparel has been really good since 2020.  But I don’t understand  the pants.  I am a zero in terms of matching in fashion but they don’t look right.
