Said it a few days ago and I'll say it again.  2 months back I thought the suggestion of LaFleur getting fired was comical.  But the record is what it is.  Last 4 seasons, regular season record of 37-30-1, and a 1-3 playoff record.  They lost the first playoff game in 2021, so the last four trips to the playoffs has resulted in a 1-4 record.

Policy would be completely justified to clean house.

And why does Hafley have such a great reputation anyway?

The failure and rot is at all levels. Lack of investment in secondary and D-line meant the defense collapsed. Supposed offensive-minded coach and excellent QB go dormant when they’re needed most. Soundbite D coordinator is overrated. And that doesn’t even get to special teams. There must be a reckoning.

The realization thatIm not even surprised.  I just assumed this would be the result.

Only the Packers can make a 15 point lead heading into the 4th quarter feel like it's inevitably going to go all wrong.

Honestly, knew it right here.

Matt Lafleur is a fraud and a joke. It’s an absolute slap in the face to the fan base if you hand him an extension and joke following this game.

I would really like to hope for that but somehow I imagine the Packer brass are going to be like "at least we saved some money on that extension" by losing today.

I will defend the defense a bit. Offense did not get them off the field at all the entire 2nd half. They gassed out. They aren't good enough missing the cornerstones they are to carry a game. They needed support and the Packers went 5 straight drives with nothing.

The Packers defense got torched for 451 yards and 31 points. Thats not on LaFleur; that’s Hafley’s unit folding like a cheap suit.

I think it’s fair to criticize LaFleur for the inability to get the special teams to be competent, and Bisaccia will surely be gone.

I actually disagree, I think a lot thought MLF could go this year without playoff progress. I think with the expectations and post Parsons trade they had to at least reach an NFCCG.

He was bailed out by the injuries. But I didn't know this until recently, he is a Policy guy. He was on the committee that hired him. So not all that surprising he has publicly endorsed him.

I want LaFleur gone. I think a lot of people thought the seat was hot this year, but I don't think he will be.

I don't care one iota if Hafley gets hired away as a HC somewhere, he's done fine but by no means is he some irreplaceable guru.

Offense went 5 drives straight of missed FG, punt, punt, punt, punt. They both kinda sucked. 28-6 second half.

So much worse to expect to get destroyed but dominate the first half and then manage to give it away.

Yeah, but they put up 431 yards and Love threw for 4 scores, and Williams gave them 2 turnovers. Defense and Special Teams handed them the loss.

Packer are always a year or two too late to make a change. I guess we can hope Harbough being available changes things but I doubt it, that's not a Packer like move.

A 28-6 second half debacle is on coaching.  The head coach cannot be that incompetent to blow that lead.

The defense got gashed, for sure...but the offense did nothing for too long in the second half to let the Bears finally get rolling.  Its on MLF...and also on Love for turtling to the pressure looks  he saw.  They didn't adjust protection schemes or routes/plays to beat those looks until it was too damn late.  Special teams cost the Packers 7 points and field position throughout, too.  All in all it's unacceptable against a team that just isn’t good enough to be a 2 seed right now.

I don't think you can argue with the special teams part.

Should have had four more points.

Not spin. The loss was on the defense and McManus, and the inability to run the football

The reason for that is the offense could not stay on the field and give them a rest. This loss is on the offense and McAnus.

I don't know what will happen with the coaching or GM decisions, I think it's more on the coach than the GM but at this point it won't bother me much if they're both gone.
