Maybe that’s the problem. He’s actually lefty but has never tried it so he doesn’t know how much more natural it would feel for him.

I’m at the point that playing shortstop is the equivalent of a neurosurgeon or theoretical physicist because somehow of all the athletes this world produces that the Milwaukee brewers are actually paying Joey Ortiz money to play it

there just has to be some sort of special minute part of the brain that literally millions of other better baseball players can’t access. 
 

because it’s just so hard to believe as an observer of the physical world that this freaking guy plays 150 games for my team
