I'm still trying to decide which was more fun to watch Hamilton's Little League HR, or the Prince Fielder inside the park HR at the Metrodome. I think Fielder wins by a nose but mostly because I was at that game in person.

I was gone & didn't start watching until the 6th inning. But I'll say that from what I saw in his final 2 innings, the game plan vs their hitters was impeccable. Credit Harrison, Contreras, Hook, Henderson---probably a combination. But it was fun watching their lineup have little to no clue what was coming, or where, and not being able to pick the ball up anyway. A clinic on FB usage from someone who has good, but not eye-popping velo. Sorry I missed the majority of it.

Great swings from Hamilton and, despite not picking up any hits, from Ortiz, at least in his last couple ABs.

As glad as I am to have him back, tonight reminds me of how inexplicably bad Yelich can look at times. I can't comment on his first few trips to the plate but I know his AB vs Palencia in the 9th was over-the-top ugly. It's to the point where you just hope the bad stretches where he chases & can't pick up the ball don't become extended.

This was a fun week, to say the least. There have been more important wins vs this team, like game 163 & the 2025 post-season. But from a pure joy standpoint regarding the rivalry I'll always have wins over CC in a prominent spot, along with the comeback win in 2019 when there was all the hype surrounding their acquisition of Kimbrel, he entered the game & Keston Hiura hit one out to walk it off.

I learned today that both of PCA’s parents are professional actors.

Yep.

His mother (Ashley Crow) was the mother of Billy Heywood  in Little Big League.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

David Kaplan should have an epic rant tomorrow about the Cubs and their horse(bleep) effort this series.

Don’t forget he does short recaps the night of as well so you can double dip

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Hamilton just all but guaranteed we are waiting until after the Super 2 date for Jett.

Brewers top 5 positional WAR leaders this year (Bref):

Turang 2.2

Contreras 1.0

Bauers .9

Hamilton .6

Lockridge .5

Bottom 3

Greg Jones -.7

Luis Rengifo -.5

(Frelick, Matos) -.1

One of our 3rd baseman should be drawing the ire of the fan and one of them should not be.

The Prince Fielder little league HR in Miller Park. Mostly because I can be seen in the replay.

In case anyone has trouble finding it. This guy is hilarious. Gonna blow a gasket pretty soon, but good entertainment while it lasts.
