Harrison Extension

Alright gents, I’m sold.  Looks like we have four more years of control after 2026.  Any possibility we could sign Kyle to an extension that gives him security in exchange for maybe buying out 2 years of FA?

that would make him 30 at the end of a 6 year deal.   He did have a $2.5 million signing bonus from the Giants back in 2020, so that maybe works against us, but would love to lock him and Miz up together for the next 5-6 years.

You can sign any player to an extension if you’re willing to pay them what they want.

First Arnold, then Hook, then Jim Henderson.

.. and truthfully as much as I am enjoying Harrison, with the way the Brewers are uncovering these guys we will just trade Harrison in 3 years for 3 more Harrisons.
