Rats … stranded runners cost us last night & may very well cost us tonight too. I surely hope the bullpen can clamp down & hold the lead for Sproat. He deserves a break. Another series win would be sweet. A loss here would be disappointing to end a lengthy road trip. Come on Crew!

I actually really didn’t hate it, Sprout has almost inevitably fallen apart late if you keep riding him, he gave you 6, let him actually leave this one feeling good and build confidence for the next one.

Patrick has been amazing all season so I can’t fault the move. He obviously did not come close to getting the job done. More critically, our offense had numerous opportunities with runners on tonight to break this game open and repeatedly did not get the job done.
