Maybe Rengifo to the IL? Looked banged up after diving in the 7th. Maybe xray revealed something, would make the timing line up. Ready for the change, but still don't believe they would just DFA him.

They wouldn’t have just spontaneously decided in the middle of the game to DFA Rengifo or option Ortiz. That would have been decided before the game, and Pratt wouldn’t have been in the Nashville lineup at all.

I’d say pretty unlikely. Made hasn’t exactly been lighting the world on fire in AA. 110 wRC+ on the season coming into today.

The kids like 19, that's very impressive at that level at that age. Hopefully this starts the chain and gets some of the guys at Appleton promoted.

Nobody said it wasn’t impressive for a 19 year old to have a 110 wRC+ in AA. It absolutely is impressive. That doesn't mean he’s remotely ready to be promoted to AAA. A 110 wRC+ is still a 110 wRC+. He clearly is still being relatively challenged at AA. Chourio in 2023 didn’t get promoted to AA until he went on an absolute tear after the tacky ball was removed.

Looks like Fischer is going to help with that playoff push as well!  It's being reported that he has been moved to Biloxi!

EDIT:  And now Adamczewski moves up too?  The dominoes have begun to fall!
