On Vaughn, I wonder when he was actually 100% recovered from injury. It seems like it may not have been until last week.

In the short term I would put him in the lineup every day to get him regular reps, especially with Bauers having cooled off.

Funny when people cut down the IGT threads, yet continue to come back, read, and even reply.

People who can't handle it here really should stay away.  This place isn't going to change because a couple high and mighty posters don't like the tone these threads often take.

High and mighty because some posters take a more positive view of the game? Interesting perspective.

You are absolutely allowed to have your feelings. I feel good leading by one in the 7th inning. You don’t. I prefer to have my feelings guided analytics.

Are you using analytics to guide your feelings or feelings to guide your analytics?

High and mighty because they like to rip the thread for not being what they want it to be, yet continue to come back.

High and mighty for calling out posters for being negative, when they have every right to post their frustrations in a thread basically built for hot takes and knee jerk reactions.

We’re all supposed to be robots commanded by THE NUMBERS.

Relievers aren't robots either.  They have good days and bad days.

A 3.00 ERA for a reliever is good.  But because they give up 3 ER every 9 innings doesn't mean they can't be trusted.

I don’t like how this game is feeling.

Its hard to expect the Brewers to score again and I don’t trust Ashby

Nice to see electric Ashby make his return

The price for electric Ashby's return was Yelich having one good day and earning himself the leadoff spot for August.

Nobody is taking rights away about posting. Not sure what you are saying. Because a few posts get called out for being negative isn’t a big issue. You can always block my differing views.

I find it relaxing to watch this team coast through the second half of the season. I don't even want the 1 seed, I'd rather get the 2 seed and play the Braves/WC3 winner in the DS.

This team finds a way to win. Never going to have the overall talent of the highest spending teams. Love how mentally tough they are. I agree, secure the two seed and let the chips fall in the playoffs.

They don't have big names but they have a ton of talent and a ton of depth. And an identity.

That is very true. The talent has gotten so much better over the last few years.

With the weather being SO MUCH COOLER today this game has an early to mid-May feel to it.   The crowd seems like they are just there and the Brewers seem to be going through the motions.   That 4-2 lead just doesn't feel safe at all.

If Joey hits for the cycle I will officially nominate him for the leadoff spot.

Wanna guess when Megill last gave up 2 runs?

Actually here's another fun fact: Megill has not given up any runs since he last gave up 2.

He has given up 4 runs TOTAL since April 14. 4-2 in the 9th feels as safe as any 2-run lead could.

I'm not even bothering to watch the 9th, off to watch Seattle.
