That’s not a crazy thing to say. MLB hitters need 20-10 vision to see the ball.

What's funny is that he, historically, when performing as the predominant 3B, has been very good. When performing as the SS, he hasn't. It's almost like he flips a switch

We have seen Ortiz hot streaks before. Even last year when he was generally awful at the plate he managed to hit 343/387/443 in 75 PA last August. How did he follow it up in September? 214/225/257 in 72 PA. 
 

im happy we are getting the current hot streak, but I’m not confident he will be a competent hitter the rest of the way and in the playoffs. I hope he is though!

Why does Joey stay at the bottom and Yelich stays at the top.

Joey is hitting like a leadoff, and Yelich is hitting like a #9.

Wouldn't really want to mess with Joey right now myself, but I could see a lot of managers reading the situation, and doing something to get Yelich out of that leadoff spot.
