Is this a real take? That Chourio is a TT type outfielder to this point?

Blank space the name. Has he lived up to expectations? If so fine. It's fair if people have been a little disappointed especially this season.

Don't focus on the name. It could be Joe Smoe. Is this what you were expecting 3 years in? If so fine. I think it's fair it's been a bit of a frustrating time. Not the end of the world just saying I think it's fair.

??

I don’t care about the name. I would think when making a comparison, you would use a player that is comparable.

Yes, if you had told me Chourio would be worth 8 WAR by the middle of his 3rd season at age 22 I would not be disappointed. I don’t know how anyone is.

5 hole Yeli looks equally as brutal as 4 hole Yeli, 3 hole Yeli and 1 hole Yeli. You cannot accuse him of being inconsistent.

Hey! He could have hit into a DP. At least he just made one out. 🙄

Way to go Lara!  Our young players are such a breath of fresh air.  So lucky we get to watch Pratt and Lara for the next decade

It's too bad Lara and Pratt will be watching from the bench tomorrow.

You think you can hurt me? I watch Wisconsin sports. You can't hurt me.

That's fine. I am on the side of a bit disappointed. Agree to disagree

I think Jackson has been inconsistent, but has still exceeded expectations.

i think (by Year 5), most of us expect a .850 OPS player who routinely makes the all star game, but expecting that of a 22 year old isn’t realistic.

if (by contract end), Jackson has been a consistent .800 OPS player, with hopefully some key hits in the playoffs and 3-4 AS appearances, he will have lived up to the hype.

Look on the birght side, at least he didn't rollover into a DP! It's time for Pancake to admit Yelich isn't what's best for the team right now and sit him.

No big deal. You said you haven’t seen anyone call for him to be benched. I just showed you.

No, you told me to go look for it.  You haven't "shown" anything and I'm still not buying it.

Dude deserves it. To this day I don’t understand why we called up Greg Jones a second time just to release this guy the following week.

Let me preface this by saying I absolutely love Yelich… he needs to take a few weeks off and evaluate himself. He’s a detriment right now.

Absofreaking lately.

You do realize it’s pretty much exclusively HOFers and multi time allstars who have done what he has at his age? Right?

Any higher expectations is a you problem and most certainly not a Chourio problem. It is not normal for 22 year olds to have been this good this early.

I can just picture Murph penciling Yeli back at leadoff tomorrow to “get him going again” and with mist in his eyes whispering “go get em, Captain.”

It would be nice if Yelich took Murphy off the hook and said he understood if he's not helping. You can't send Sproat packing  but then say this guy has no accountability for performance.

Jackson is a good player.     He will be the centerpiece when we have the made, Fischer, Burke, adamczewski, Lara, Pratt murderers row in a couple years

and wait until you see frias for us

Actually, I didn't say anything.

You showed me?

I must have missed it.

Murphy and yelich “having a catch” field of dreams style.   Brings a tear to my eyes

I will look. I’m pretty sure it was Bulldogboy who said to bench him. I will find you the actual thread and quote

Whatever man. I could care less what you think about my opinion. You think I'm going to rethink it because you don't agree. You seem to always have something to say when I put my point of view out there. Save it. I already told you plenty of times I could care less.

I said bench him in the context of a day off. That's what the conversation was. What are going to do bench him for the season 🤔

Thats what I figured, and at the time a reasonable take.
