I love Vaughn but I’m apprehensive about him playing third base today

I wouldn’t want him there every single day but the few innings he’s had there this season he has looked fine. If you’re going to start him there Miz is the right time to do it.

It beats starting Mark Kotsay in CF in the NLCS.

Excited to see this game coming off the greatest victory in franchise history. We won't lose another game this year. Hell. we won't even give up another run this year. Miz will throw nothing but immaculate innings this year.

Nah, wildcard birth is the best to hope for.

CBS Sports: Vaughn has previously logged 10 total innings at third base across six games this season, but he'll be making his first start at the position Sunday since the 2021 campaign. He's unlikely to emerge as a regular option at the hot corner for the Brewers, as Vaughn appears to be drawing the start merely because David Hamilton is needed at shortstop with Joey Ortiz (neck) and Cooper Pratt (hamstring) both unavailable for the series finale.

Ok everybody, let’s focus on Brewers baseball.   Anyone else feel like the next time they see Josh Bell in the batters box it will be too soon?

I miss the M&M days, though my old coaching buddy now is a Twins assistant coach…

with this Brewers era, I just hope we don’t end up like the 2000s era Twins that could never get past the evil empire

Didn’t we knock this hairlip guy around last time

No he had one of his best starts of the year. 6 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 2 BB, 8 SO

This lineup will be something to monitor for the next 20 minutes. An Adams scratch would say a lot about the length of time they’re thinking this will take and the health of Joey.

Pratt being the one to IL is a surprise. Hopefully precaution as hamstrings can linger.

Let’s hope it’s not a Chourio 30 day situation.

Not a problem if Miz K's 27.

Insane that the team with best record in baseball has to sign a guy off the street because they have no depth in the minor leagues.

That lineup sucks so I fully expect them to score no less than 8 today.

I actually low key like that lineup

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave
