He’s always pacing, always stressing out, always looks absolutely miserable.

Some of that footage of Counsell yesterday & today late in the games was absolutely priceless.

Nothing happens without DL Hall in the 9th…….,

That Burnes trade looks so different today than it did at any point last year and earlier this year..

We knew Megill was going to have some stinkers and he just had 2 and we won both of them. So hopefully he’s getting them out of the way before October.

The Padres score 4 in the 8th and beat Washington. Wow!

The Cubs are now 3 games up on Arizona for the 6 seed and only 3.5 games up on San Diego for that final playoff spot. Tailspin.

The Cubs have the season series against both, so in my mind, we won't hit "things just got interesting" territory unless the gap is cut to one game very soon, like within the next four games, maybe.

Yeah and I just took a peek at both remaining schedules to see who they play... and the Padres and DBacks close the season playing each other for 3, which is probably not great if we are trying to get both in.

Dbacks and Padres still have a series together as well to end the year so that makes it pretty unlikely.

You guys are being too hard on Counsell. He was playing 4D chess out there, 10 steps ahead of the rest of us. I dont think even Chourio knew the Brewers were going to win but Counsell was all over it before he even stepped up to bat in the 9th

Since sweeping the Dodgers a month ago, they are 15-16, 13-16 in their last 29.
