Dustin May and his pretty good fastballs take on Zack Wheeler and his quite good everything. Milwaukee should have completed their repeated Wheeler trade attempts ten years ago.

I understand Colton Gordon is safe and healthy. Henderson is listed as tomorrow’s starter and TBD for Thursday.

Hoping May brings good stuff tonight to hang with Wheeler but I really think Gasser has earned a playoff rotation spot as a consistent LHP.

While of course I'm rooting for a win, my expectations are pretty low for this one. I'm gonna focus on the bigger picture, by which I mean I hope a) May can show some serviceability, and b) the experience of facing Wheeler can go into the collective knowledge base and prepare them for what it'll be like in the playoffs. I kind of hate facing Philly right now, to be honest - they'll learn a lot about us, too. However, their mindset will be shorter-term in trying to get into that #3 slot and a home-field series.

Seems like Logan has been after Miz, maybe with Wheeler going they are targeting tomorrow for a win if they still need it to clinch against Braves. They also may be planning short start for Henderson like they did with Miz and don't want to chew up the bullpen tonight.

I like Dustin May.  I like how tough he is on himself and how much he wants to win.  3 weeks ago he said: "It sucks to be sucking right now."

He hasn't been the same guy since he blew up his elbow, but if Harrison's not going to be on the PS roster, then I think we're going to need him.

Park yourself at a bar on Bluemound with a beer an hour or two before first pitch, pay attention to Stubhub, pick up tickets for $40 and ride the shuttle in. You might miss the first inning, but you'll also miss the giant line to get in.

This pep rally is kind of a circus. They clearly were not prepared for the large crowds. Never underestimate Rick Schlesinger’s ability to screw up the easy stuff.

Nah, there’s just not enough space to accommodate the crowd, especially with people bringing their own chairs. Also not enough food vendors and long/confusing lines with limited signage. Like I’ve said for years, Rick S just isn’t very good at his job.

Getting concened about the huge number of Ks the Brewers are putting up going into the playoffs.  28 whiffs in their last 19 innings. For a team that doesn't have a lot of power, they need to score runs by putting the ball in play.
