Their top pitchers are good (but will have to throw in the WC series). Their offense has some very good big bats (Schwarber and Harper), some underperforming names (Turner and Realmuto, and, to an extent, Marsh and Bohm), and a really tough out (Arraez). It's just not as scary as it's been in years past. Really, it's two lefties who can kill you. Get them out, you're going to be good more often than not.

Then, you've got this very weak bridge to an elite closer in Duran. It's just going to be tough for them to get outs in the 6th-8th innings, and if they lose, that (along with putting up 2 or 3 runs on the strength of a HR or two) will be the reason why.

Let's get 100!!

Duran/Romero/Hall/Gasser/Ashby all good LHP Brewers can use to neutralize their lefties as well

I can see the argument for keeping it, but I like reseeding slightly better.

Ehhh I don't like that. Division champions get automatic spots. Reseed at that point, so the AL West champ for example, would be seeded 6th.  

Then drop fixed bracketing.

I can see reducing the unbalanced schedule, but I think the travel considerations would make the logistics tough if you got rid of divisions completely.
