Which is absolutely insane to say.  A throw away game to go to the World Series.   Their pitching is too damn good

One of these teams has spent $300mil+ to allow Tyler Glasnow to be their #4 starter.

I’m sorry what?

I mean it wasn’t even a strike but you don’t pitch Ohtani down and in. He missed his spot

I really wanted for him to step up. He just hasn’t.

Me too. I hated the trade from the get go, but I’m not celebrating this. I desperately wanted him to work out because the trade is over and done with and I still want to win.

But trying to sit here and rationalize that it was actually a good move, or that he hasn’t actually been terrible, like some are, is insanity.

Ohtani had to golf it out.  Looked like he was hitting a 3 wood.  He wasn't going to do nothing all series.

That’s in the wheel house of lefty

If you're going to do that knowing the 3B is already playing in then I'd rather just see Ortiz in the lineup.

Dead cat bounce game. Keep grinding at bats, do what we do.

Not sure a 2 out bunt is what I had in mind though.

Honestly after all the strikeouts I'm just glad to see a ball in play

Yes. Because he’s been a bad acquisition and has done a bad job as a Brewer. Which is all anyone is trying to say and is the only reason we don’t want to see him continue to pitch.

That wasn't a terrible pitch.  Great swing by Ohtani, took out some frustration there.

It was a terrible pitch, and May knew it. He had no business going down and in to Ohtani.

You think you can hurt me? I watch Wisconsin sports. You can't hurt me.

I think the "punt the game" thing needs to take a rest. They don't have many options to start this game. No Miz, no Henderson, no Gasser, no Ashby, Uribe or Megill. Any way you carved up this game, those two guys were extremely likely to see the mound. I'm not sure there's any valid criticism to be made other than May for just being a crappy baseball player at this point of his career, and Drohan being pretty much what he's been for months.
