They didn’t need  Skubal, but they needed someone less iffy than May

That's almost anyone. The guy is 6+ ERA as a Brewer. He has done nothing to be on this roster. Could have just grabbed Nashville's favorite guy and it would have worked out better.

I'm disappointed but at peace with it. If you have to eat innings at some point with #12 and #13 I don't know when you do that other than 3-0. It didn't quite work, oh well, but the logic is there.

Yeah, more than 7 pitchers are needed to get through the postseason.  Some P that arent as reliable are going to have to play and hope we get their best.  We didn't get their best.  It is what it is.  I wish Harrison didn't fall off late and May didn't completely suck.   Hopefully once we get to their pen we start stacking runs ourselves.

Harrison looked like he got that life back his last outing. I'd like to see him later, but you have to be a little smart about this(obviously).

Lets hope May can give us another 1-2IP and then see where we're at.

They needed a 2nd tier trade deadline target

May looks SO damn nasty, it's so annoying we're down... oh well, moving on.

(He throws a cutter and misses badly there, THAT'S why looking nasty =~5.0 ERA).

I actually thought they might start Harrison because of that.  He would have probably been my choice.  But who knows, he might have been better, he might have been worse.

Yeah... that was kinda where I was, but I don't imagine they put as much weight on that outing(well, obviously they didn't).

But his FB WAS back up those couple ticks he'd lost.

Dustin May makes me so nervous

Why? Is it because he doesn’t know where any of his pitches are going??? 😅
