3000 posts....my mom would be so proud

Oh sure, I'm no Russ, Al, or even TooLive, but I've made it.

Does 3000 posts guarantee a spot in the BF.net Hall of Fame, or is it just another lame counting stat?

My post output has been dwindling lately because I see that 10 K coming...

It's like you're looking down into the abyss and you see it coming up at you.

I, like Brett, am also pacing myself because that 10K comes up pretty quickly and want my 10,000th post to really count. At my current pace I expect to be making some serious commentary as we approach the trading deadline in the 2028 baseball season as we are debating whether or not to trade Ryan Braun Jr. to the Las Vegas Devil Rays.

A pat on the back for bf.net's Wauna-poster!

Maybe if I "cheated" and had changed my username like some of the other regulars, I wouldn't be the "winner" of these kind of threads. That's OK, they just didn't have the heart to carry the honor/burden.

Wow 14,180 posts? It seems like just yesterday we had the thread for your 10,000th post. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

The funny thing is, I feel like I've hardly posted this off season. I guess it's all relative.

Great Russ goes from stat geek to relativity theorist guy. Way to make us all look stupid.

I was so happy when I hit 1000 then changed from local user and had to start all over. It sort of took the wind out of my sails.

There needs to be a King Thames version of the bible.

Someone should edit in an asterisk following your post total, Buc. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Looking at my total, I must have hit 3k a few months ago. I didn't realize it was that reason for celebration.

(I honestly don't look at my post count unless someone else brings it up.)

Hypothetically, I could create my own secret forum where I rapidly and constantly make blank posts in order to unscrupulously inflate my post count.

3000 should be a key "milestone" since baseball counts 3000 as a "magic number".

Is it internet forum hall-of-fame worthiness, though? I don't think so. Dork-of-fame, maybe.

I'm just glad I'm able to talk Brewers (and other off-topic stuff) here and it's always a pleasant experience). I have no idea what my post count is right now (I'll look after I hit the button).
