a.m. radio can be very strange sometimes. I work in Sauk Prairie, which is about 20 miles west of Madison. 1310 usually comes in well, until about 10pm at night. The signal strength drops, and the signal fades in and out. I found myself scanning the dial for the next 2 closest Brewers affiliates. 1400 a.m. in Reedsburg: static. Same with am 1450 out of Richland Center. However, 1150 in Appleton came in pretty well.

Even stranger, I was able to get the Cardinals broadcast out of Peoria (1470) in crystal clear. I tuned in just in time to hear K-Rod strike out Theriot. The Classies radio broadcaster had this to say with disgust in his voice, "Rodriguez does his little dance out there, mimicking the umpire." It was awesome.

As much as I dislike Counsell now, it would be funny if he ended the game with a hit to not tie the record.
This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

Also coming in crystal clear was the Indians game on am 1100 out of Cleveland, Twins game on 1420 out of Mankato, and the Rochester Honkers game on an am station out of Rochester. I'm a nerd. Sorry.

got to give Roenicke credit for getting Wilson out of there and putting Nyjer in CF

DPR doing what he should have done in the first place.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.
