Fire Ned Yost. This team is the worst in baseball, and I am embarrassed to be a fan. I'm done following the major league club for the rest of the week.

That's cool, but you can still watch the Brewers.

Smart and funny is there anything you can't do?

In all seriousness, how close is Ned getting to being fired?

If we were still in the AL Central, he'd be long gone. Instead, we can't fire him because we're still in first place.

It's unfortunate, because if they win the division, he'll probably get a contract extension, which only assures that we won't get any better for however long the extension is for. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

What can you say - the Brewers are the Brewers. Nothing we can do about that. Actually what is firing Ned Yost going to do? Maybe get us a quick 2 or 3 game winning streak before the team goes right back to their 15 year funk?

This team CANNOT stand up against good pitchers. It was definitely shown on the big road trip. I think if you look through all the games that a quality pitcher has come up against them they have struggled to hit the baseball.

I can only wish the Brewers finish this trip 2-7. EMBARRASSING.

I don't care about Verlander or what he did I am a BREWERS fan.

Now how do I make a signature saying - Suffering since 1993?

i was just about to post a huge rant thread in the major league forum, but i was so upset that i was nearly crying. i think i'm starting to get the feeling of true red sox fans before 2004.

i should be enjoying this team being 4.5 games up in the division, not driven to the point where i go to bed pissed off.

I am really upset that Yost told his players not to get a hit today. I think the players were really sad when Ned told them that. For this reason I think that Yost should be ousted right away.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

How would firing Yost help this team? Probably just as much as firing Wynegar did.

Seriously, for once blame the players. They're the one's that are getting paid to hit.

If this team were even capable of fundamentally sound baseball, they'd be up at least eight right now. Think about that, and you'll better understand why you can't enjoy this "first-place club".

When October hits, the Central Division champ, whoever it is, will be bringing pillows to a gunfight.

I don't know. It doesn't seem all that bad to me. I would have been shocked if they won tonight anyways. The fact that it was a no-hitter doesn't make it count more than one loss.

Although this is the vent thread so I need to complain about something... I thought Verlander was getting calls way off the plate in the eighth and ninth.
