I watched "Miracle" for the first time on Thursday.  I was not aware that Mark Ciardi was the producer.

The Housemaid was entertaining.  Not a must see, but there are worse ways to spend 2 hours of your time.

Sydney Sweeney is lucky she has big boobs, because she isn't that great of an actress, truth be told...

DVD Purge update:

The Crow (Original, not sure if this has been remade, or sequels, or whatever) - I'm keeping this based on the fact I used to really like this one.  I haven't seen it in probably 20 years, and I admit, it was pretty decent.  I'll keep it around for one more future viewing to see what I think about it at that time.  Keeper - for now.

Cujo - Too much stupidity in this one to keep.  Found it irritating and would never waste another minute of my life watching it again.  Goner

The following have been watched OUT of alphabetical order for various reasons.

Detroit Rock City - HUGE KISS fan, fun movie!  Keeper

The Gentlemen - Have never seen this one before, bought the dvd a couple years ago finally got around to viewing.  Decent movie, at times out and out hilarious.  Took me a while to keep up with what was going on, but once I figured it out, I enjoyed it.  Keeper for now.  I really have to see a movie more than once to make a final decision.

Nightmare Alley - Same as above, never seen it before, but did like it.   Keeper, but need another viewing...

M*A*S*H - Really hard for me to see different actors in the movie that are playing the TV series characters.   I've pretty much grown up with the TV series, and I understand that the movie came before the TV series, but it was hard for me to get past the differences in the characteristics of the movie people compared to the TV people.  Also, the football game was stupid and boring.  Goner...

---Only a handfull of "C" movies left before I get to dive into the "D" movies.

I didn't mind the movie.  If nothing else, it gives one heck of a different perspective for the theme song 😀

DVD Purge:

Starting some "D" movies, but still have a couple "C" movies left.

Crimson Tide - Intense movie.  I thought this one was on the bubble, I was wrong. Keeper

Daddy's Home and Daddy's Home 2 - You can't shame me, I simply think these movies are hilarious!  First one is better than the 2nd one, but both provide many laughs.  Keepers, both of them

Dances With Wolves - KEEPER

Dangerous Minds - Still love this movie to this day! Keeper.

Dark City - Just not a very good movie. Goner

Song Sung Blue was good. There is something about people getting really excited about seemingly small dreams. It hit me the right way for some reason. Also I was at one of the concerts portrayed in the movie and that made me nostalgic :)

It does slow down quite a bit in the 2nd act but I thought it finished well.

We saw Song Sung Blue over the weekend and quite enjoyed it.

Finally saw the new version of The Running Man.  I really really enjoyed it.  I am a big fan of the original movie and also Richard Bachman's story.

I saw some of the same threads between the two movies.  I was waiting for somebody to say, "Sign here, victim!"

They played kinda fast with the timeline (which they can do, it's a movie) but we enjoyed it too.  I thought Kate Hudson brought a decent southeast Wisconsin accent to her role.

Train Dreams on Netflix was a wow movie and a refresh for the soul, at least for me.  Highly recommend.

Finally saw Axel F last night. Wish I hadn't.

I have yet to see that, and I'm a fan of the first three, yes, I said it, even the third movie...

Saw this headline in the Guardian. You could try to track this person down

Melania documentary struggles in UK cinemas as Vue admits sales aresoft’

“Only one ticket sold for premiere of film about US first lady at Vue’s flagship London branch as insiders question launch strategy”

It will be interesting to see how it does in the US.  I wouldn't expect democrats to be lining up outside the theater, but I'd think it would do pretty well with republican women...

Yeah, she really did. My wife spends time on either coast visiting family so it's easy for her to pick up on stuff like that, and she mentioned it right away.

I enjoyed Song Sung Blue thoroughly. It hit home with me very easily due to the fact that the 'real life' Thunder grew up a few blocks from our home & the siblings attended the same grade school as I did. I also played fastpitch softball for Good Time Charlies, the bar depicted in the movie.

Have to admit, I never realized Jim Belushi was in it until I saw the credits.
