Agreed that Thames just doesn't deserve starts right now.

 

Braun has been great in August. 169 wRC+.

 

Aguilar has been solid too. 122 wRC+ in August.

 

Thames has a wRC+ of 9 in August.

 

Hadn't realized it has been so drastic but Thames sure has faded just like last year.

 

Thames hit 328/431/574 in 72 September plate appearances last year. A little more consistency would be preferred, but it's still nice to have a number of guys who could go off & put up a 1.000 OPS to close the season.
