I know Dbacks are competition for us, but we should be pulling for them to do well for the next week or so. We want them to feel like they still have a shot when they face the Cubs early next week.

 

Arizona is no longer competition for the Brewers. If they were to catch the Brewers, that would mean we would have done so poorly that it wouldn't even matter. Everyone else would catch us, too.

I'd love them to lose and while they are at it, might as well have it be as tiresome and demoralizing as possible.
