OT. Is anyone else seeing base hits pretty badly on FS1? Even watching replays of Moose's walkoff and Kratz's hit today I still can't see the ball.

Yes

Yeah. I thought Moose's was caught yesterday and I thought Kratz's was deep.

They also seemed to switch to the Rockies' local station for the post-game show on FS1.

ARod is such a dbag. He's still propping up the Rockies offense which will "be so much better at home."

Guess what, dumb arse. So will the Brewers offense that hit 218 home runs.

[sarcasm]Can’t believe this team bailed out Counsell again.[/sarcasm]
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I think A-Rod would rather bait a crocodile with his manhood than give the Brewers any respect.

Don’t we want this though? I mean, I hope we get slighted by all and then just keep tossing up W’s.

Yes

Yes. And Freddie Freeman says it is because of the lighting.

When I first logged in earlier I thought I’d joined a Plumbers Crack forum?

New nickname for the bullpen, the Plumbers' Cracks?

For those not watching the Brewers are apparently om the ropes

Hader on the left, Jeffress on the right, and Knebel's curve rolls downhill.

Has Miley been formally announced as the starter for Sunday, or is MLB.com speculating?

Going with a LHP against this Rockies team in Coors is risky!

They switch cameras late and the camera is never centered on the ball it seems.

I don't want to come across as second-guessing everything. Not at all. I think CC was brilliant, both yesterday and in Game 163. You get no complaints from me about how all this is setting up.

I even think Perez today makes sense, though I hope he isn't in there for 4 ABs. My point is just that there calls that make sense that still have downsides. That's the nature of a strategic sport like baseball. I think Santana was one of those yesterday, and I'm wondering if CC thinks so too and part of the Perez reasoning is just that it allows a guy who has hit well lately (Arcia) to PH while opening up double-switch possibilities that improve your defense and maybe save you a bench player the first or second time through the order.

CC is as impassive as the Sphinx during these games. When they show him in the dugout you can't tell if we are ahead or behind...

Counsel said Miley “at this point” but he also said Miley would be able to pitch today if necessary. So mixed signals.

Aguilar. Guys. Stop swinging at high heat.

Aguilar had a bad day at the plate. He did walk late in the game but he struck out a lot. :tongue

Huge Win! the current winning streak is now 10 games.

Another well managed game by Counsell, the unusual lineup of Perez (SS, batting 6th) and Shaw (2B, batting 7th) has worked, and JJ with the huge 2 inning comeback from yesterday's blown save.

These guys need to freaking take some pitches and make him work. Take a cue from the MVP. It’s embarassing the amount of people left on base so far in this series

On BAD swings at BALLS

We left far too many runners on base plus we had guys at 3rd that we couldn't bring in even with a long fly ball. This has been an issue this year and if we don't fix that it will come back to bite us in the rear against a team like the Dodgers/Red Sox/Yankees going forward.
