I know Weathers has been good and the Brewers can't hit but have a feeling loading up on the right handed hitters is actually going to work today and they score a few runs early.

It’s the first time in his career that Willy Adames has started a game batting 2nd in the lineup.

 

Interestingly in addition to Adames’ reverse home/road splits (211 points of OPS better on the road), Adames has been better against RHPs than LHPs (101 points of OPS better), and much better in night games than day games (169 points of OPS better). He sort of has the trifecta of weird reverse splits going. It could all be fluky, but it is over more than 1,250 plate appearances at this point.

Today is the first time all season that I don't really want to watch this team. The lack of fundamentals and overall poor approaches at the plate makes them a tough watch for me presently. Go Brewers...but I'll be checking in sporadically.
