I thought that should have been a hit for Yelich……was a tough play and would have been close at first even with a good throw

Either way, it was smoked which is the thing we need to see.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Considering how they give hits on any ball to an outfielder, I agree.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I'm going to the game tomorrow and want to see Hader pitch, so we need to score one more.

Think after throwing 3 of 4 days and getting hot tonight he’s likely down either way.

As long as he doesn't have to warm back up tonight again I think he should be available tomorrow.

Cain has a very high floor because of his defense, but so sad to remember how much of a joy it was in the olden days (three seasons ago) to watch him be a force at the top of the order.

Hopefully Cain can redeem himself after that last at bat

I'm afraid that's what he was thinking, too. Seemed a bit to anxious for the big hit

Yeah...if you were gonna use Hader, I just think you do. But I one area I totally concede to the Brewers is rest and management. That seems like the place where teams have proprietary analytics I cannot even imagine.

I have totally done a 180 on Jace Peterson. He's got a spot on this team as long as he wants it.

He's turned into what we thought hernan Perez was going to be.

After what we saw last weekend Counsell has a lot of guts sitting down Hader here. I hope he doesnt have to bring Hader in to face Moustakas as the tying run with nobody out. Especially with the hitters the Reds have coming up and Cousins wild spells this could be dangerous.
Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.
