Norris is bad. He better not be anywhere near the playoff roster.

Glad we got that miracle win yesterday. Big picture we need to get the big 3 back on track. All seeing their share of struggles lately.

I would be okay if they DFAd him tomorrow

Totally understand the thought behind acquiring Norris, hoping that a LHP could find it and win a role as a reliever. Thankfully, the performance of Ashby so far in August/September looks like Norris could easily be omitted from the playoff roster. Will be interesting to see who the last two relievers will be for the playoffs.

Oh well. On a positive the Reds lost so the magic number still goes down

The Reds suck. They can't even beat AAA teams now.

The Reds never were that great. Overrated starting pitching and a leaky bullpen. Bats have cooled down this they have cooled down. They still have a shot at the wc but they are not as good as a couple of the teams in the race

If you need a reason to stay optimistic today, the Phillies bullpen has a 4.47 ERA this season. The only worse bullpens among NL teams have been the Pirates (4.63 ERA), Nationals (4.87 ERA), Rockies (5.07 ERA), Reds (5.19 ERA), and D-backs (5.30 ERA).

It really looks like the Phillies have a horrendous bullpen, just terrible. The Brewers are trending downward this past weekend.

Yeah, because in baseball you can definitely tell everything you need to know about a team from their last few innings. :rolleyes

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Like when they took 3/4 from the Giants and 2/3 from the Cardinals? Massive downward trend there :laughing

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Well I tell you I rather face the west than the Phillies they seem to have our Number. I really hate that we still have to play the AL Central which they have been terrible this season
