Nolan Ryan is a once in a generation pitcher.

And we're not allowed to find out if Corbin Burnes could be too.

We are finding out. During this whole season.

We're watching a lab rat in a highly controlled environment. Wheeeeee!

This is a game that could end up a save situation. If the Crew had pushed a couple more runs across, it'd be clearly be a bad call to pull Burnes now. But since the Crew hasn't clinched the division yet, calling Hader to get the save is a defensible call.

I mean/...... this is the way baseball is played now. Everyone can feel how they feel about the aesthetic value of it.

I don't think Burnes was coming out for the 9th whether it was 3-0 or 9-0.

The division is over. The Brewers know that. It has nothing to do with pulling Burnes.

Well okay then; nice to know I can ignore you and your laughable takes.

My take that I no longer enjoy the game as I did when I was a youth due to pitch counts (today's example), 7-inning doubleheaders, and other changes is laughable? Good grief. Has nothing to do with their success this season, I just don't enjoy watching the game as much as I did when I was younger.

There is something cool about a TEAM pitching staff getting a TEAM no-no with two of it's best guys.

Harder has earned being a part of something special. It's not traditional, but it:s cool in a different way

Yes, I understand CC pulling him even though if he was going to he should've done it last inning, but if Hader finishes this off without giving up a hit I don't consider this a real no hitter.

How many hits did the Indians have?

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Calm down Straw. Good call.

Good zone by this ump tonight. So many umps penalize when a strike isn't caught in a way that "looks" good despite being a strike. One called strike outside to Narvaez was about the only obvious miss I recall.

The game changes like every other sport. That is literally the history of the baseball. Read some Bill James.
