Thank you, Woody!
There are three things America will be known for 2000 years from now when they study this civilization: the Constitution, jazz music and baseball. They're the three most beautifully designed things this culture has ever produced. Gerald Early

This Braves lineup is going to be just brutal for a long time. They don't even have Acuna right now.

Urias quietly keeping us in this game
I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

Urias man - even if we don't win I think this game has fulfilled the Grisham redemption game that many were posting about way back during pre-game of this thread

I hate that we're somehow out of catchers already. I hate that Woodruff didn't just start this inning if he was available. I'm glad it worked out though.

I think they probably wanted Woodruff to cover the 7th and maybe the 8th if needed.

I mean if Woody was available. Why Ashby?

Woody was probably only gonna give an inning or two at most anyways. After they took out Lauer in the 4th, we were gonna need 4 innings+ to get to Hader, so Ashby was gonna pitch today no matter what.

Urias has just been a revelation at 3rd this post-season. Thankful for his defensive play. Let's hope Woody can give us a quality 3-4 innings if need be.

I'm guessing he was hoping he wouldnt have to use him.

Go back to Ashbys first inning. Strikeout, weak infield single, walk, and then a HBP that was awful, weak forceout, ground ball under the first baseman's glove that could have been made.

So on a Maile-Woodruff double switch would it make more sense to move Maile into the traditional down in the order pitching spot?
Not just “at Night” anymore.

If we score I'd like to see Hader finish the game. Don't mess around.

Hader for 9 outs? Yeah that's not happening. If we see him in the 8th I'd be happy.

Stick with Woodruff as long as he can go - best case you get through the 8th. Anything past 7 though is great and as soon as Woody is done gotta go to Hader

I get that. But now we have cashed out on our catchers.

No way. It's his throw day maybe 25 pitches max.
