Let's hope Burnes has a bounce back outing and the bats get going.  This losing streak is getting concerning, frankly, and we need to have a good feeling before hitting the road again.

This just feels like a situation of a confident team facing one that is slumping and pressing.

Butnes going out knowing that one HR may be enough to beat him isn’t ideal.

Might need a change of venue and a new series to shake the doldrums.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Going to go ahead and say that I would rather have Hiura instead of McCutchen at DH so that y'all can quote this when it is proved wrong later.

Wow.  Might not need any gloves today, Phillies couldn't even foul Burnes off. Untouchable.

I'll agree.

Brewers didn’t need gloves last night either, but the fans in the right field stands did.

When Wong is available I would rather use Peterson as DH and rotate other position players through the DH spot to give them a little rest.

I don’t like the idea of a guy with a 50% strikeout rate in the DH spot.

Don’t need gloves on walks either.

Burnes is already up to 30 pitches.

Pitcher or Nashville.

I don't care for Hiura much either but he does hit righties better than McCutchen.

The classic illustration of damning with faint praise.

If nothing else Burnes is already setting a low limit on the innings he’ll be covering today. Six might be tough.

Remember, this is a comparison of Hiura with McCutcheon
